Is it Springtime yet?

So yesterday was one of those days that are rare in February. I woke up and saw blue sky. Then I went outside and it was so warm that I decided to take advantage of the opportunity. I got my stuff packed, got into my little celica cyclops and off I went. The feeling of lacing up in my blades is quite giddy-inducing let me just say! First time this year I could actually go skate. Time for a little trip around portland on my blades. I am always so refreshed by any outdoor activity and Saturday afternoon was no exception!!! Yay for sunshine, yay for rollelblading and yay for Saturdays in Portland. Can't wait for Spring!!!!

Nagano City and Togakushi Sunset

This is the sunset from Elina`s front yard! Wow.

Driving on the wrong, er left side of the road...

At the entrance to Zenkaji Temple, Nagano City

So the umbrellas are to keep the sun from tanning the skin. Meanwhile, I`m soaking up the rays, right Elina?

Ronaele, Terumi, and Elina smiling for the camera!

Japan 2007

Konnichiwa! I`m excited to be posting my first blog from Nagano Japan. I`m here visiting the one and only Elina Hamilton and her beautiful family in their home in Tagakushi, just outside Nagano City. The mountains I wake up to every morning are breathtaking-I have to pinch myself daily to remind myself that I`m actually here!

Hello from Togakushi Japan...
